If you’re looking for an authentic Filipino food with reasonable price along Sitio Lubigan in Tanay, Mang Avet’s Cafe and Restaurant is the best place to dine. Service was accomodating though you have to wait 30-45 mins for prepping time. It was our first time we dine here after vising Regina Ricca and it didn’t disappoint. We’ll definitely visit again, haneh!

First of all, get ready to wait for your food (around 30-45 minutes after ordering, depending on how crowded the restaurant is). The Filipino food here is superb! We had fried dalag, calamares, camaron, sinigang na bulalo sa bayabas… all superb! Food is not salty, the fried foods are not greasy, and the sinigang sa bayabas was all-natural and very delicious with tender beef! We capped off our lunch with their special halo-halo (not too sweet, tasty ingredients; they give you sugar in case you want your halo-halo sweeter). I really enjoyed the halo-halo. Overall, a fantastic place to have Filipino food. Just be patient; they really take their time to make the food extra special.

We recently dined at this charming restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The cozy, Kubo-themed setting truly captures the essence of authentic Filipino cuisine. The ambience, paired with the beautiful scenery, made for a delightful dining experience. The food is superb, offering the flavors we've missed from back home, which is why many of my relatives highly recommend this place. The prices are very affordable, adding to our overall appreciation. The cleanliness and neatness of the restaurant further enhance its appeal. Highly recommended!

We take our lunch here 4 of us. The service take long time as expected but the Filipino cuisine we order is good. A place recommended for those tourist balikbayan or foreigners specially like to have another food experience. Thank you for your service until next visit...

Ended up eating at Avet's since Gaea's Sanctuary needs Reservation and we were not disappointed! Food was delicious and affordable. Service was good too. We ordered the following. Sinigang na Baboy, sourness was just spot on and pork was really tender. Calamares - fried perfectly and delicious. Sisig - Delicious also and worth ordering again. Pancit. Sizzling Tofu, tasted bland but was rectified with Soy Sauce. And the best part which will make me go back again to Avet, their Special Halo Halo which was really Delicious!!! A very filling lunch made more special by their Special Halo Halo.

Delicious food in a cozy cottage with a wrap of mosquito net to prevent guest of having bitten by mosquitos. The only setback is the food serving. Overall, worthwhile.
